Soft Play Opening
We are very excited about our newly refurbished soft play room. Our Parent Council secretary, Leanne Rusbridge made a successful application to the charity, Wooden Spoon to fund this. They donated £20,000 to the project. Alongside this, we had a donation of £5,000 from KPEG and donation of paint and labour to paint the room from M R Electrical Ltd. We are so grateful for this support. Wooden Spoon will officially open our newly named “Wooden Spoon Soft Play” on Friday 10th October. This is a wonderful resource, and we really appreciate everyone’s work to make this happen. Particularly to Leanne for all her hard work in applying for the grant.

Playground Equipment
Please note that outwith your child’s school day, use of playground equipment or spaces is the responsibility of the parent / carer and should be supervised at all times.

Open Day – Tuesday 23rd September
This will be an opportunity for pupils to show parents / carers their classroom. We will send more details home soon.

Ripple Project Evaluation

The Ripple Project have supported us in school for a number of years with their primary focus being on mental health and wellbeing. The report attached details an evaluation of the impact of their work. Ripple Work in School Evaluation

Ripple Mural
The Ripple Project applied for funding to complete a mural in our courtyard area. This application was successful and over the last two weeks, Spectrum Arts have painted the mural. This has completely transformed the space which is used by classes and as a quiet space during lunch times. It has been lovely for the children to see Antione at work and the mural progressing. Thank you so much to Antione at Spectrum Arts and The Ripple Project.
