Friday 9th October
We have been learning about Autumn and this week we visited the Buddy Garden to look for signs of the changing seasons and collect leaves. We found different shapes and colours of leaves and some other interesting things too!
In the classroom, we have enjoyed stories about Autumn including ‘The Leaf Thief’. We have been exploring leaves, sticks, pine cones, conkers, acorns and seed pods. We used these to make patterns and faces, and used our cutting skills to make Autumn Patterns.
Over the past few weeks have been learning dice patterns and have enjoyed lots of games using dice. Then we used the dice to roll and write the numbers 1-6 – everyone worked very hard at this activity, well done all!
