Class Coffee Mornings

We are looking forward to welcoming you into school for our class coffee mornings again this session. These relaxed gatherings are a lovely chance for you to hear directly from the children about what they have been learning, see some of their work, and enjoy a chat with your child about their learning with a cup of tea or coffee. Each class will host their own coffee morning, where pupils will share highlights of their learning. You might hear about a favourite topic, see a piece of work they are proud of, or hear about a range of areas of the curriculum. Two adults are welcome to attend for each pupil.

Here are the timings:

  • P1–P2: 9:15am

Each coffee morning will last around 30 minutes. The dates for each class are:

03.06.26P1B
04.06.26P1A

We hope you will be able to join us — it means so much to the children to share their learning with you, and we always enjoy having families in school.

Eat, Meet, Play
The next EMP is 19th June at 12pm at McLaren hall. Pupils must be accompanied by an adult.

Donations for the Summer Fayre

We are looking for donations of the following items for our summer fayre:

–          Pre loved toys and teddies (clean and in working order)

–          Food for our World Cup Café. We are keen to have food items donated from different parts of the world. If you know how to make anything and are able to donate, please let us know!

–          We are making an American hamper, a Canadian hamper, a Mexican hamper and a Scottish hamper. If you have anything you can donate to there, please let us know so we can manage donation numbers. We are looking for food items and items relevant to the country or anything in the colours of the country flag. We have created an Amazon wish list with examples.

–          Bottles for our bottle tombola (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

–          Time! If you or someone you know (grandparents, aunties uncles etc) are able to offer an hour of your time, we would really appreciate the help. We can’t run these events without volunteer help!

If you have any questions or need more information, please reach out to us. You can contact us on Facebook messenger (Craigie Council), at craigiecouncil@gmail.com or on 07926473056.

Items can be handed into the school office or handed to a member of the Parent Council in the playground. We will be at the red tables in the playground before and after school on Fridays selling wristbands for the inflatables.

We really appreciate all of the donations and support we get from our school community. We are looking forward to making the Craigie World Cup Carnival the best summer fayre yet!

Don’t forget, you can still purchase your unlimited inflatable wristband using the link below, or on Fridays before and after school at the red tables!
