Dear Parents and Carers
With camp only a few days away, we are sending on some reminder information about the arrangements.
A coach will leave Craigentinny at approximately 9:20am on Tuesday to take pupils to Waverley Train Station. Their train leaves Edinburgh at 10:32am.
Parents and carers should drop their children off at the usual time of 8:45am. Parents and carers are, however, welcome to stay in the playground or come back to school around 9:10am to wave the coach off, should they wish.
Pupils should ensure that they can carry the luggage that they bring. Please note, as we are travelling by train, smaller cases are best due to limited space for luggage on trains.
Pupils are provided with specialist equipment such as waterproofs, walking boots, helmets etc, so children do not need to bring these. Older clothes (lots of socks), and a second pair of shoes which can get muddy are requested. Please do not buy anything new as it is likely to come back very muddy!
Please could all pupils bring a packed lunch for Tuesday. They will have this on the train to Lagganlia. Your child should bring a packed lunch box and water bottle as they will use these every day at camp. They do not need to bring a backpack but are welcome to do so to carry their lunch box.
On Friday 19th September, a coach will collect the pupils from Waverley and should return to school for approximately 1:50pm. An adult must be there to collect their child. We cannot let a child leave from camp on their own.
A reminder that all medication should be in by today. We cannot accept medication on Tuesday morning.
